Discord and WhatsApp also process their users' data as independent controllers, under their own rules.

The product

The providers behind 1HERO itself, meaning Hero, the apps and their publication: artificial intelligence, running the apps, data storage, files, publishing, email, payments, measurement.

List in preparation. It will be published here before early access, and no app goes live before then.

The remaining exposure

Some providers are US companies. In cases set out in US law, a US authority can ask those providers for access to data, even when it's stored in the European Union. That's why we state it provider by provider.

Artificial intelligence

  • 1HERO uses artificial intelligence to build apps. When you're talking to Hero, you always know it.
  • Content generated by Hero is marked, including in a format software can read.
  • No generated content goes into an app without the approval of the person building it.
  • Hero's answers about data and security come from written, checked texts, not from free generation.

Who is responsible for what

For the data of the site, the waitlist and the community, the controller is Sicilean s.r.l. For the data of apps built with 1HERO, the controller is whoever builds them, and Sicilean s.r.l. processes it on their behalf as a processor. The providers are sub-processors: they work on behalf of Sicilean s.r.l., under the same obligations.
