Why 1HERO exists.
Anyone with an idea deserves a real app, published, secure and their own, without having to learn a new trade. And they deserve to know what they'll get and what it costs, before anyone starts building.
The problem
The gap is about skills and trust.
People with an idea for an app usually stop before they start. They don't know which questions to ask, and they fear a cost they can't predict. That goes for someone running a business, someone leading an association, someone who wants to get the household bills in order. That's why Hero asks the questions for you, and lets you describe the idea in your own words.
How it usually goes
You write a request, and hope.
With many AI tools for building apps, this is what happens.
The trial stops short of the finish line
You start without paying, but to actually publish you have to pay, and you find out at the end.
Data badly protected by default
Rules about who can see what exist, but they're switched off, and the person building doesn't know they have to switch them on.
You find out the cost afterwards
The bill grows while you work, sometimes with automatic top-ups, and the total arrives when the work is done.
Quality is unpredictable
The same request gives very different results, and there's no way to know in advance which one you'll get.
Why now
Why now. The rules are already here.
Artificial intelligence builds real apps today. Trust hasn't kept up: people find out afterwards what they've bought. Meanwhile, the European rules on AI transparency apply: anyone talking to a system like Hero must know it, and generated content must be marked. 1HERO is born inside those rules.
Six commitments that come before everything.
They come before any deadline and any shortcut. We wrote them down before building 1HERO, and we keep them even when they cost us.
No real data until the checks are passed
If the check that keeps different people's data apart isn't passed, nobody uses 1HERO with real data. A failed check stops the work.
A risk to people blocks publication, always
That goes for 1HERO and for every app Hero builds. The check is part of publishing, and it can't be skipped.
Every promise can be proven
We only say what's true today, piece by piece. That's why Hero is one, and we don't describe it as a team.
You see the price before you pay
No points system to decode, no automatic top-ups, no surprise bill on the day you publish. And a security fix caused by Hero is free.
On data and security, checked wording
Every answer Hero gives about where data is kept and who is responsible for it comes from a written, checked text, never from an improvised sentence.
Every change to Hero is tested
Every change to the way Hero works is tested before it reaches you, because results also have to stay consistent.
What we don't promise, on purpose.
We don't have an AI model of our own, and we don't pretend to.
We don't promise to be the fastest.
We don't promise data will stay in one place forever. We say where it is today, provider by provider.
We don't describe Hero as a team. There's only one.
We don't promise every app meets accessibility law. We build it so anyone can use it, and so it stays sellable as the business grows.
We don't promise magic. Hero is a magician in reverse: it shows you the trick before the show.
